KOALP (Korea Overseas Advanced Learning Program on broadcasting and communications) is a new learning program presented by Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA). As a part of Korea Communications Commission (KCC) projects, it aims to bridge the global digital divide by aiding development of the broadcasting and communications sector in developing countries. Ultimate goal of KOALP is to assist broadcasting & communication experts of developing countries to plan appropriate projects and conduct advanced policies. We hope this program will be useful to all participants and we are strongly sure that it will be a great asset for participants and their countries development. In 2011, KISA aims to offer 20 invitation-based training courses to 400 participants. Through these opportunities, we hope all participants can acquire advanced knowledge and experience high-tech technologies, furthermore, strengthen international cooperation between countries in the broadcasting and communications sector.
